Regular Council

That the contents of the Regular Council Agenda for November 17, 2021, be approved as amended, by removing Item 15.1 Councillor Gordon Motion respecting residential and light pollution.

That the items and related recommendations contained within the November 17, 2021 Consent Agenda as consent items having been considered by Council be adopted with the exception of:  Item 5.4.1 CSR-2021-70 Revised Traffic Calming Policy and Guide  Item 5.4.9 CSR-2021-77 “Midland 2021 – Finding our Way” Update Report Back 2021 which will be considered under Section “10. Reports and other items

That Item 5.4.6. CSR-2021-75 Free Parking for Accessible Permits be received for information.

That Council resolve into the Committee of the Whole.

That Staff Report CSR-2021-70, Revised Traffic Calming Policy and Guide, dated November 17, 2021, be received; and 1. That Council adopt the Revised Traffic Calming Policy and Guide and direct Staff to implement the Policy.

That Staff Report CSR-2021-77, entitled Midland 2021 “Finding our Way” Update Report Back dated November 17, 2021, be received; and 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer be directed to report on the progress of changes made during the next year no later than the Q4 of 2022.

That the Committee of the Whole rise and report.

That the recommendations of the Committee of the Whole for the meeting on November 17, 2021, be adopted as Resolutions of Council.

That By-law 2021-33 being a By-law to amend Sign By-law 2011-79 respecting 16845 Highway 12, be passed and enacted.

That By-law 2021-51 being a By-law to adopt the proceedings of the Regular Council Meeting held November 17, 2021, and to authorize its execution.

That this Regular Meeting of Council adjourn at 9:02 pm.
