Committee of Adjustment

That the contents of the Committee Adjustment Agenda for February 8, 2024, be approved.

That the Minutes of the Committee of Adjustment dated January 11, 2024, be adopted as printed and circulated.

That the Committee of Adjustment hereby approves Application B.06/2023 respecting 285 Midland Avenue for Provisional Consent to create one (1) new lot subject to the following conditions: 1. That a deposited reference plan survey of the severed parcel be prepared and submitted to the town in duplicate. 2. That all taxes, penalties, and interest levied on the subject property at the time of issuance of the Certificate of Official for the severed lot be paid in full. 3. Submission of a draft electronic transfer for the parcel to be severed, one copy to be retained by the municipality. 4. That the applicant pay to the corporation of the town of midland, five percent (5%) cash-in-lieu for parkland dedication based on the appraised value of the severed lot as determined by an appraiser approved by the municipality and paid for by the applicant. 5. That a certificate be issued utilizing Form 2, under section 50(12) of the Planning Act R.S.O., 1990. 6. That Minor Variance Application A.14/2023 be approved.

That the Committee of Adjustment defers Minor Variance Application A.14/2023 to allow for revisions to be made to the application.

That Bob Jeffery be appointed Chair to the Committee of Adjustment and Property Standards Committee and that Andy Ott be appointed Vice Chair to the Committee of Adjustment and Property Standards Committee effective March 1, 2024.

That Tomasz Wierzba be appointed as Acting Secretary-Treasurer, replacing Steve Farquharson, to the Committee of Adjustment in the absence of Natalie Murdock.
